If you already have an account on FIBS and are upgrading to MacFIBS version 4, you do not need to reregister on the server. Just enter your user name and password in the MacFIBS Preferences window.

If you experience problems and can't log in, it may be that you have mistyped your user name or password. If you are still having problems, please contact me, and I will try to help.

Note: Remember that your user name and password are both case sensitive. You must enter them exactly, or you will not be able to log on to FIBS.

The Use Keychain option

If you are running Mac OS 9 or later, you may see an additional checkbox titled Use Keychain in the Register window. This option allows you to store your FIBS user name and password in a Mac OS Keychain. For more information about how to create and use Keychains, refer to the Mac OS Help.

You can enable or disable the Use Keychain option in the Connect section of the Preferences window as well.
