The wave command

    Syntax:  wave

    Send a message to all players that you are about to leave. When you wave a second time, you will be logged out of FIBS. Some people prefer waving goodbye to announce their departure.

    Note: In MacFIBS, you can wave goodbye by control-clicking in the Public Chat window and choosing Wave Goodbye from the pop-up menu. You only need to do this once, MacFIBS will send two consecutive wave commands automatically.
