You can select from a variety of backgammon boards, with different color schemes and sizes.

To open a different board, just choose File > Open Board... and select a new board. MacFIBS will remember the last board you opened, and open it when you launch MacFIBS.

MacFIBS installs several basic boards in the Boards folder. Check the MacFIBS Web site for additional boards created by some very talented MacFIBS users.

Setting board options

You can set several options related to how the board works, including which direction you wish to play, which color checkers to play with, whether to display pip numbers on the board, playing game sounds, etc. You can set these options in the Board and Game sections of the Preferences window. Some options can also be changed using the Contextual menus on the board window.
